The Technical Committee organizes the three annual Michigan Section in-person technical sessions. The fall technical session alternates between Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids locations. The winter technical session, also known as the Annual Meeting for the Michigan Section, is hosted annually in Farmington Hills. The spring session is held annually in East Lansing on Michigan State University’s campus. New to 2024, the technical committee will offer free virtual sessions between in-person technical sessions. The committee meets virtually typically on Thursday afternoons.
The Great Lakes district meeting is planned by the Local Arrangements Committee of the hosting state outside of the Technical Committee.
